What to do: Acknowledge/cancel the alarm by pressing the return (enter) key.

What to do: Nothing – this is quite normal as it should defrost approx 3-4 times a day at a minimum.

Detail: The Max displayed is over 8 degrees.
What to do: It is quite acceptable for the fridge to sometimes show a maximum over 8 degrees. This is normally due to slightly longer door opening times, or opening the door during a defrost cycle.
The important issue is whether it is going into ALARM mode, as this will indicate the total excursion time. If it doesn’t alarm it means that the fridge may have been over the range for a short time – but under 10 mins.
